Master Moreno

Mr. Juan Miguel Moreno is a three-time Olympian (1988,1992, 2000) and two-time Olympic silver medalist (1988 and 1992).

Mr. Moreno has also served as the National Team Coach in 2002 for the World Cup and 2002 Junior World Championships. Mr. Moreno won Silver medals at both the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea, when Taekwondo was a demonstration sport.  After retiring in 1992.  Mr. Moreno returned to competition in 1998 to make the 2000 Olympic team for Sydney, Australia, where Taekwondo made its debut as an official sport.  Mr. Moreno is an eight time National Team member. 

Mr. Moreno coached at the 2005 World Taekwondo Championships where the U.S. won four medals (three gold and one bronze), including a gold and bronze by Diana Lopez and Mandy Meloon, respectively.  

Mr. Moreno is one of the USAT National Team Coaches for Olympic Sparring and has developed a private National Team program to develop top athletes for the United States for the next Olympic Games and beyond.  This team is called Peak Performance.
